The C2K is a reusable, electronic alternative to plastic or metal strip security seals for securing trailers and trucks. Providing one simple point of security control.
The electronic truck and trailer security seal is a low cost (circa 0.008 pence per seal), easy to read solution and reusable up to 35,000 sealings. The seal can be fitted to trucks, tankers, vans and curtain-sided vehicles and even static items like key cabinets and it will reduce not only your sealing costs but also the costs associated with the purchasing and control of single use security seals. Our reusable seals also remove the issue of plastic waste and debris caused by broken seals, that is so often seen littering distribution centres and loading areas up and down the country.
The C2K generates a random seal number when the security hasp has been threaded through the vehicle locking handle and secured under the actuator. A new random seal number is generated each time the C2K security seal is resealed.
For trucks, vans or trailers with side doors or tankers with cabinets, hatches or multiple access points, both Manta and C2K reusable security seals offer the unique facility to hard wire remote sensors in series, generating a single unique load number while removing the need for a separate mechanical seal at each point.
In the open position the C2K display alternates between "OPEN" and the last seal number - thereby allowing time for the seal number to be checked against the manifest even after the seal is has been opened.
